Program Objective

JUDO DEVELOPMENT is the stage where children move from general introduction to a disciplined technical education. Training becomes more structured: athletes learn how to follow instruction, repeat correctly, and build habits that lead to long-term progress.

Our priority is a strong foundation — safe falling (ukemi), correct movement patterns, basic gripping principles, and a first set of throws and groundwork techniques. This stage also develops responsibility: athletes learn how to train with a partner, respect dojo rules, and stay focused under coaching.

Belt Progression System

Progress in JUDO DEVELOPMENT is based on clear technical standards. Athletes advance through belt levels by demonstrating correct ukemi, technique basics, dojo discipline, and safe partner work. Our goal is real skill — not fast promotions.

Step-by-step technical checkpoints (ukemi, grips, throws, groundwork)
Coach assessment during regular classes
Formal evaluation periods every 4–6 months
Belt examinations when the athlete consistently meets the standardМини note (строгий):
Belt level reflects readiness and quality of fundamentals. Every athlete progresses at their own pace — with clear guidance from the coach.

Evaluation & Feedback

Athletes are evaluated through continuous observation and scheduled checkpoints. Coaches track technical execution, safety habits, discipline, and consistency. Parents receive clear feedback on what to improve and what is required for the next step.

Ukemi quality and control
Basic throwing mechanics (timing, posture, balance)
Groundwork stability (pins and escapes)
Training behavior (focus, respect, responsibility)
Consistency and effort over time

Outcomes

By completing this stage, athletes build a reliable technical base and the mindset required for the next level.

Confident, controlled breakfalls and movement safety
First set of fundamental throws with correct mechanics
Basic gripping understanding and partner control
Foundational groundwork (pins + basic escapes)
Strong dojo discipline and focus under instruction
Readiness to enter Youth Judo (9–12) with structure
